Der Bay Palmetto ähnelt dem Sabal mauritiiformisist und ist einer der schönsten Sabalarten
und sein Vorkommen ist in Belize, Guatemala, westlichen Kubas und Südost Mexikos beheimatet.
Ihre Früchte werden in diesen Regionen als Beruhigungsmittel verwendet.
Die Blätter dieser Palme eignet sich auch für das eindecken von Hütten.
Ihre Blätter sind fein geteilt und die Spitzen hängen ab.
Sabal Yapa ist langsam wachsend und die Blattunterseite ist silbrig und der Stamm ist eher schlank.
Lässt sich im Topf gut kultivieren und benötigt einen gut wasserdurchlässigen Boden.

and its occurrence is located in Belize, Guatemala, western Cuba and southeastern Mexico.
Its fruits are used in these regions as a sedative.
The leaves of this palm tree are also suitable for covering cabins.
Their leaves are finely divided and the tips hang off.
Sabal Yapa is slow-growing and the underside of the leaves is silvery and the trunk is rather slender.
